Atlanta, GA. – Imagine Music Festival located a the Atlanta Motor Speedway was a huge success in only its third year of infancy. This annual event was moved to a new venue added a third day and included camping for the first time. The artist for this event was nothing short of amazing featuring an all star lineup that consisted of DILLON FRANCIS, BENNY BENASSI, BOGORE, THE DISCO BISQUITS, EXCISION, GRAMATIK, NERO, SHOWTEK, STEVE ANGELLO, ZEDS DEAD, and many more. This festival featured six stages, carnival rides, circus acts, gogo dancers, creative decorations, giant LED screens, a massive function 1 sound system, an ecredible lighting display, and of course lasers.
The laser show was brought to you by FullColorLasers.com aka LASER ASSASSINS who operated two stages and 22 laser projectors with only 4 technicians. Main stage had an incredible display of KVANT lasers six 20watt spectrum, four 6watts w/PASS, and two 3.5watts to project graphics on water screens on both sides of the stage. For the set up of this stage three 300ft. cat6 cables were ran from FOH to stage one connected to a data switch that then ran to the 20watt spectrums FB4, the second to a startech hub that connected to FB3 then ILDA cables to the 6watts and 3.5watts, the third was ran as a backup. This stage was operated using Pangolin Beyond Advanced software loaded on a Surface Book controlled by an APC40 midi controller.
Stage two was also operated by FullColorLasers.com using four 15watt PIKO laser projectors and six 20watt NSL2000 laser projectors. Set up for this stage was very similar as main stage a 300ft. cat6 was ran from FOH to stage to a startech hub connected to ten FB3’s with ILDA cables ran to all lasers. To operate the lasers Pangolin Beyond Advanced was loaded on a Surface Pro4 and controlled by an APC40 midi controller.
The LASER ASSASSINS absolutely destroyed the festival and stole the show performing three nights to live music by some of the hottest artist in the industry. The crowd was in amazement all weekend and the laser show was the talk of the festival. Overall Imagine Music Festival had everything fans could hope for in music, production, and visuals. All senses were stimulated for three days of magic and memories that will last a lifetime.
